Why I changed my profile picture, banner and headline. Technically, to rebrand myself. First of all I choose my brand color so that everyone can recognize me from my color. Profile picture: I changed it because the last one was not a professional pic, I looked more like a Instagram post than a professional profile picture. Banner: I made a banner which contain my brand color and also able to describe me. banner must matches your Headline. Headline: I wrote a clear tag line which can clearly describe me. Your headline must contain easy words so that if a recruiter comes he can easily find out about what you do. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DM me and Let's find out what can I do for you. 💡--SELL YOURSELF--💡🫵 Emily Thompson was an aspiring graphic designer fresh out of college. She had the skills, the creativity, and the drive, but despite sending out countless applications, she struggled to land her dream job. She felt invisible in a sea of talented applicants. That's when she realized something crucial was missing – a strong personal brand. Determined to change her situation, Emily started building her personal brand from scratch. She revamped her LinkedIn profile, created a portfolio website showcasing her best work, and began sharing her creative process and insights on social media. She even started a blog where she discussed design trends and offered tips for fellow designers. Slowly but surely, Emily's efforts started paying off. Her posts gained traction, her blog attracted a steady readership, and her LinkedIn profile became a hub for industry connections. She began receiving messages from recruiters and invitations to collaborate on projects. Within months, Emily landed a position at a renowned design firm. Her personal brand had set her apart from the competition. What We Learn from Emily's Story? 🤷 Emily's story illustrates a powerful lesson: in today's competitive job market, skills alone aren't enough. 📣 Today's Public Service Announcement! I've been seeing a lot of profiles with some interesting pictures. I use the word "interesting" as that covers a lot of ground. With some, it literally looks like a mug shot. Some look really angry. Others may not be as dramatic, but definitely not professional, warm, approachable, etc. Maybe this is done on purpose to deter recruiters. 😂 Hey, it's your pic, your profile - it's yours to do whatever you like. Just know that... - Your picture is the first thing that people will see - It's a reflection of who you are - a little sneak peek if you will Is it what you really want to convey? Hmmmmmmm🤔 Disclaimer: I pulled the below pics from Canva, not from people's LI profiles. #jobseeker #jobseekers #careeradvice #jobsearchtips #interviewtips
