OMG!!! I'm officially a social media ambassador for Hollister Co. under Abercrombie & Fitch Co. 🥳 Growing up, I remember going into my local mall and wanting to be a commercial model for stores like Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch. But growing up in a predominantly white town, I was shamed for being a woman of color... ... and I was even told by my white classmates that I could never be a model because I'm "too Asian," "too exotic," or "not normal enough." But a few years later, here I am... ...one step closer to one of my dreams of becoming a commercial model :) And in the process, I've learned 3 things: ✅ Don't listen to people who tell you to be "more normal." If you live life trying to please others, you will never be satisfied. So you might as well do what you genuinely love. ✅ Unapologetically pursue the things you want to pursue. Don't let your peers influence your career path. Don't let your parents influence your career path. It's your career, not theirs. And if they don't support your dreams, pursue those dreams anyway because you'll regret it if you don't. It's better be happy chasing your dream than miserable chasing someone else's. ✅ Don't let others' opinions of you shape your self worth. Growing up, I was a huge people pleaser. But I realized...why do I keep pleasing other people at the expense of my personal dreams and wellbeing? So when I stopped listening to others' opinions and unapologetically chased my dreams at full-speed, I started getting the opportunities I wanted. And so can you. ❤️ - With that being said, check out my ambassador storefront with links to my favorite Hollister Co. dresses and clothes that I wear! https://lnkd.in/gWf9kjHK - 🚀 P.S. Want to land your dream internship at a Big Tech company? Apply to Student to Big Tech, a private community where you'll get direct mentorship from me, weekly coaching calls, and a support system of early career individuals who are just as motivated as you to land a spot at a Fortune 500 company. Ready to get your dream offer letter from Big Tech? Like, follow, and comment your email, and I’ll send you the link to the application! ⬇️

It’s with a genuinely heavy heart that I say today is my last day at Trade House Media. This internship has been nothing but pure joy, from the people to the job itself, I have loved every minute of it. And, I will always be grateful for the opportunity. Firstly, I want to say the biggest thank you to the team - Richard Cook, Andrew Morgan, Alasdair Morgan, Elliott Coe and William Davey. You guys have genuinely been the best team I could ask for. While you’ve taught me so much industry knowledge and skills, the biggest thing you’ve taught me is that gender and age is nothing when it comes to friendships (sorry guys you are a little older than me hah). It’s funny, I was very apprehensive being the only female when I first started, but now? I actually love it and there’s never been a time that I have felt we don’t align, or have fun or anything. For that, I will always be grateful… Richard Cook, thank you for being as woo woo as me. You’ve become something of a spiritual guide, navigating me through life and helping me to understand myself and those around me. Plus, we both love getting all profound and ontologically probing hah. Andrew Morgan, thank you for allowing me to have the creative freedom to ‘find myself’ in the marketing world. I know it’s a cliche, but hey you're a musician you understand the importance of ‘finding yourself’ right? It’s been pivotal in developing my skills. Oh, and for influencing me to buy a hamster - I’m sure if pumpkin could speak he’d say thanks mate! William Davey, thanks for being my intern buddy. Without you, I’d never have looked this good a marketer to the team - hah I’m kidding. You taught me a lot, even if you didn’t realise it at the time. From your unwavering dedication to contacting people, to constantly challenging / questioning everything you definitely taught me not to get complacent! And now, I shall return to the professional side of LinkedIn that we know and love. From a professional standpoint, Trade House Media has been invaluable to my career. Over my time here, I've learned the importance of being independent, taking charge of the changes I want to see, and pushing myself to be the driver of progress. THM gave me the creative freedom to test my abilities, allowing me to flourish and grow. I’ve also sharpened my skills in customer outreach, finding the right ways to connect with clients and deliver value. One of the most important lessons has been the art of crafting emails with purpose—constantly reflecting, refining, and building hooks that truly resonate with the reader. Thank you for being the best internship I could ask for, I hope that we get to work together in the future!

The ABC of Ensuring Faster Off-Takes from Retail Outlets During my internship, I learned that to drive sales and ensure faster off-takes from any retail outlet, you just need to follow this simple 'ABC' strategy: A = Availability of your stocks B = Branding (Visibility of your stocks) C = Communications (Retailer has to be clearly communicated about Trade Margin, Trade Offers, and USP of your stocks) By maintaining this 'ABC,' you can enhance your product’s presence and performance, making your sales job much more enjoyable and effective! #SalesTips #RetailSuccess #MarketingInsights #LearningFromExperience #SalesStrategy #InternshipExperience
