On July 11th, China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. (CAERI) hosted 2024 China Automotive Research Index (IVISTA & C-AHI) Technical Special Committee Annual Meeting. The high-level closed-door Seminar was held in Beijing. Automotive industry leaders, advisory members, directors and deputy directors of the Index Technical Committee were invited to attend the meeting. Green NCAP was especially honoured by inviting me to be the first speaker right after the opening section. The Green NCAP consortium and I highly appreciate this gesture and are glad to feel the acknowledgement of our programme’s activities in Europe. I had the chance to present the improvements we are preparing for 2025 and this was very well received by the audience, resulting in exciting discussions and potential for future collaboration and intensified technical exchange between Green NCAP and CAERI’s green vehicle assessment programme C-AHI 🌿. Together with five other experts in safety and sustainability, I was appointed as a Member of International Expert Group! What a feeling to hold this prestigious red folder on one stage with such professionals and in front of this top-class Chinese audience! 🎆 It is worth mentioning that I was not only impressed by the high quality of the agenda and speeches, but also from the perfect organisation of the event. Having helped with the International Vienna Motor Symposium in the past, I know how much effort it takes to deliver to the highest quality expectations of an event of such calibre. CAERI managed that perfectly! 👍
