𝟯 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗻𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 1. A nursing paycheck doesn’t have to be your only income source. Nursing school focused on preparing you for the workforce, but your skills and knowledge open doors to countless other opportunities. Think beyond the bedside: freelance writing, health coaching, creating online courses, or even starting your own health and wellness niched business. 2. Dreading work? That's your gut telling you something's off. Anxiety, upset stomach, mentally checking out during shifts? You're not aligned. Stop at this moment and tell yourself this: I deserve joy AND purpose in my career choices. Then do something about it. 3. You've got nothing to prove. Period. Forget the credentials race, the slave to materialism mentality, and the imposter syndrome driven people-pleasing. True fulfillment comes when you live authentically without seeking others' approval. Do you! Who cares what "they" think? If you’re craving more freedom in your nursing career? Helping Experienced Nurse Managers Make An Impact & Gain Control Over Their Time As Nurse Consultants
3 Things I Wish I Knew 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 From Nurse Manager To Consultant To give a bit of backstory, I felt stuck in a rigid schedule of never ending tasks as a nurse manager I was craving freedom to control my own schedule Rather than tick off a to-do list I wanted to do work that felt impactful and actually excited me It was difficult to go from frustrated Nurse Manager to Consultant with full control over my time and workload whilst scaling my income but I’m so grateful for the journey. Looking back on that experience, I wish i knew these 3 things before starting out : 1. You already have enough expertise that someone is willing to pay you for. Stop looking down upon yourself and appreciate the value you bring to the table. 2. Don't be afraid - you only live once. Get out of your comfort zone and step out in faith 3. Nothing compares to the exhilaration of having control over your time and income. It shifts the power into your hands. If you’re going through something similar, I truly hope this helps. If it was, please let me know by liking this post or commenting below with how it helped you.
