I’m hiring #whosinterested… Shark&Co are partnered with an exciting Tech-focused firm based in Central London. I have known and worked with the managing director for 3 years 🤝 who started as a graduate. Six years later, he is a 50% shareholder. In this time they have tripled headcount, surpassed top line revenue to £7million GP, and homegrown 4 directors 🧑💼at entry level who also have shares within the business. They offer, £45k for basic salary for any Technology recruiter with 2+ years' experience. (That’s £10k over what everyone else is offering. I should know I’ve placed 3 consultant’s with over 4.5 years in the industry at £35k). Commission structure 💵 starts at 20%. Dear hiring managers (that means ANYONE hiring someone right now)... you know what REALLY doesn't matter? An employment gap. You know what matters: Do they have the skills to do the job and would they be a POSITIVE part of the team. Everything else usually is filler. Seriously. Have a process, know what skills you need/jobs to be done. - Keep it consistent, and have REAL conversations with your candidates. Having more than 5 people involved in the hiring process is a colossal waste of time, money and energy. ---------- p.s. I a NOT a recruiter. I have had the privilege of hiring hundreds of people and lately have helped dozens of startups in their hiring processes. I currently advise companies on marketing and operations, and one of the easiest ways I am improving their business is to help them find the right people to solve the problems they have. Stop wasting everyone's time. (and that VP who spends months trying to fill a position, clear sign you need a new VP)
