Huge congratulations to one of our apprentices, Frank, who was awarded Learner of the Year trainee Plumber at Springvale Employment and Learning’s recent 2024 Learner Awards! Frank has recently joined Greenview in our Apprenticeship Programme and starts his Level 2 Plumbing in September. Frank’s tutor commented “Frank is a very intelligent young man. He is extremely capable of any tasks he is set and has shown a great enthusiasm for success by finding his own employment with Greenview and solidifying a place on the APP NI programme with a qualification in Level 2 Plumbing. I have no doubt that Frank will make his way to become a fully qualified plumber with a very successful career.” We are proud of the commitment each of our apprentices make, and of course the invaluable impact of our workplace mentors who support their journey. #plumbingapprentices #apprentices #apprenticeemployer #employeeinvestment #constructionskills  #greenviewgroup #workingbettertogether #apprenticeawards #apprenticeoftheyear #plumbingskills

Our Skills for Life and Work Plumbing winners at our Awards Ceremony were: Rising Star Trainee Plumber - Tiernan Quin Tiernan is a great young man, he has come on leaps and bounds from starting in September in every area of study. Tiernan has really come out of his shell during his time spent in Springvale and has shown to be a very well rounded and capable young Plumber with a great future ahead of him. Learner of the Year trainee Plumber - Frank Tate Frank is a very intelligent young man. He is extremely capable of any tasks he is set and has shown a great enthusiasm for success by finding his own employment with Greenview and solidifying a place on the APP NI programme with a qualification in Level 2 Plumbing. I have no doubt that Frank will make his way to become a fully qualified plumber with a very successful career. Plumber of the Year - Leon Smyth Leon is the perfect student. He is very self-sufficient and self-motivated in his pursuit of success. Leon obtained his own placement and employment with Equan’s early into his Level 1 Plumbing course but stayed on the Skills for life and work programme to complete his course before moving forward to the APP NI Programme with them. He will stay late to ensure he completes work with no complaints and always works hard. I have no doubt that Leon will be a very successful Plumber. His Employer Equans are delighted that Leon has been offered this award, as it is evident that he is passionate about his development and driven as an apprentice plumber. When his manager was asked to provide a statement about leon, “Leon is a credit to his tech and his family, a good kid who is willing to listen and take things on board. His attendance is excellent and he is now starting to learn which tools are required for the job starting to work on fitting and repairing”. Equans take pride in providing all apprentices with the skill to achieve their full potential and Leon, without doubt, embraces this and has the desire to become a fully qualified plumber, and is a valuable asset to the company! Well done Leon! Unfortunately Frank was on Holidays so his Tutor Ross picked it up on his behalf. We just want to say a big congratulations to our Plumbing Students and to our amazing employers Greenview Group and Equans UK & Ireland for their support for offers these young men the opportunity to gain work experience with them and to progress onto the Apprenticeship Programme with them. If you are interested in a career in Plumbing you can apply for our Skill for Life and Work Programme this September if you are a school leaver. https://lnkd.in/e9iCc6cK #plumbing #construction #plumbingjobs #plumber #plumbingcareer #plumbingcourse #vocationaltraining #vocationaleducation #VocationalCourses #vocationallearning #skills #skillstraining
