The bear market had made it nearly impossible to raise capital for a first-time Web3 fund. Yet, here we are, having completed our second closing with over 10 million Euros. As we prepare (and already collect commitments) for our final closing, we have set a strong signal for the next generation of content and community-driven VCs. 💙 From the beginning, we have positioned ourselves differently, with a focus on the application layer, content, community, education, and events. In doing so, we have: 👉🏽 Hosted numerous events worldwide (you've probably know our w3pizza series). 👉🏽 Organized the w3vision x DMEXCO in Cologne twice. 👉🏽 Transformed a heritage industrial gem in the heart of Berlin into a Web3 co-working and community space. 👉🏽 Built a media house for our social media activities, as well as for producing weekly newsletters and podcasts. And most importantly, we've remained authentic. 💸 Our investments in startups span various sectors, including real-world asset tokenization, AI, gaming, climate, and sports, most of which are led by serial entrepreneurs. We have already recorded some uplifts and witnessed significant price increases in our liquid positions in Bitcoin and Ethereum. 🎡 Thanks to our flywheel model, consisting of “Fund, Media House, & Community Space”, along with a positive market sentiment, we have several other exciting projects in our pipeline.
