I am excited to announce The SINET Risk Executive Handbook, Second Edition: A CISO's Guide to Career Risks & Mitigation. As the responsibilities of your role become increasingly onerous and risky, the new iteration of this trusted document has been amended to provide more comprehensive knowledge necessary to secure a robust employment agreement that protects you and your career while aligning with the strategic objectives of the organization.  Protecting yourself as a CISO or Risk Executive requires increased awareness, beginning with a robust employment agreement and the education of BODs and your senior executives. In the end, no one is going to protect you, but you. This handbook is not a one-size-fits-all document tailored to the particularities of each job or industry, but rather an overarching patchwork of areas for consideration. We hope to provide a platform for the greater SINET Community to foster a deeper understanding of risk management and practical guidance at your current role. This project stems from a series of presentations at SINET Risk Executive Workshops in Scottsdale, AZ and Jackson Hole, WY.
