Curious Refuge has been teaching students to make films with AI and this is the film that won their Christmas competition (and $5k). While it takes a lot of prompts and a lot of tools to pull off something like this (it's still not that easy), it also shows some of the hallucinations and inconsistencies that come with the AI generation and animation territory. It's a preview of what's to come. While a lot of untalented people will be able to churn out crap that looks professional, it's still going to take humans to make films you actually WANT to watch, that can elicit emotion, that can do something different. While AI will enable films to be made in less time with fewer humans, it's still going to need humans (writers, directors, actors, set designers, cinematographers) who can bring the details AI is still many years from being able to achieve. https://lnkd.in/gEFiP97n
