Changing from a front-line rep to a managerial role is challenging. As a front-line rep, I had one responsibility: close as many deals as possible. That’s what I had to do.  I would network, connect with people, hop on discovery calls, and close deals. It wasn't easy. Stressful sometimes, for sure. But I only had one focus. In a managerial role, you have multiple points of focus. → The people on your team → The deals closing → The goals of the company, team, and individuals The list goes on. It’s a lot. It’s a transition. It’s not easy to focus on one thing, let alone focus on multiple people and aspects of the business. But I’m grateful for my phenomenal team and their patience while I transitioned roles. They make it easy to be a good manager.
