WHAT IS A SAFETY CULTURE? A Safety culture refers to the shared values, beliefs, and attitudes towards safety within an organization. It encompasses the collective commitment to prioritizing and promoting safety in the workplace, as well as the behaviors and practices that result from this commitment. A positive safety culture fosters an environment where every individual is responsible for safety, where open communication about safety issues is encouraged, and where continuous improvement in safety performance is a shared goal. This includes not only following safety protocols and procedures, but also looking out for the well-being of colleagues and taking proactive steps to prevent accidents and injuries. #Safety #Culture #Management #Employees

Uncompromising Commitment to Safety: A Priority Even in Busy Months In our workplace, safety is non-negotiable. Even during months filled with high production demands, we pause to discuss and take action for the safety and well-being of everyone involved. Safety is not just a checkbox to mark; it's a core value embedded in our operations. We believe that every individual has the right to work in an environment where their physical and mental health are prioritized above all else. During busy periods, it can be tempting to prioritize output over safety measures. However, we understand that a single accident can have far-reaching consequences, not just for the individual involved but for the entire team and company. Therefore, we implement regular safety meetings, conduct thorough risk assessments, and provide ongoing training to ensure that safety protocols are understood and followed by all. Additionally, we encourage open communication, empowering every team member to voice concerns or suggest improvements regarding safety practices. By prioritizing safety, we not only protect the well-being of our workforce but also enhance productivity and efficiency in the long run. After all, a safe workplace is a productive workplace. In conclusion, safety is an uncompromising aspect of our work culture, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to ensuring the safety and care of everyone involved, regardless of the production demands we face. thanks to the leaders to support and live with us this mindset. I call it positive Safety culture or Company DNA. A safety culture in an organization is like the organization's DNA, it's a fundamental part of who they are and how they operate. A strong safety culture: - Encourages open reporting of incidents and near misses without fear of blame - Fosters a sense of shared responsibility for safety among all employees - Prioritizes safety in all aspects of the business - Continuously learns and improves from experiences - Embeds safety into the organization's values, beliefs, and behaviors - Encourages employee participation and empowerment in safety efforts - Focuses on finding solutions rather than assigning blame This type of culture creates an environment where safety is everyone's responsibility, and everyone feels comfortable speaking up and reporting concerns. It's a proactive approach that prioritizes prevention and continuous improvement, rather than reacting to incidents after they occur. By making safety a core part of the organization's DNA, companies can create a sustainable and effective safety culture that benefits everyone. As a Safety professional, I realised that we too are to blame as a number of us embark of blaming or rather blame game instead of looking foe solution. I checked myself many years ago and I embarked on being on the positive side . finding solutions. #stop@blame.game.#make.workshop.place4.everyone. #safetyweallwin#
