Congratulations to the graduates of the first Goodwill Clean Tech Accelerator ™ class in Detroit and to my colleague Daniel Varner, President and CEO of Goodwill of Greater Detroit for hosting a memorable celebration on Friday! The inaugural graduating class celebrated the completion of its four-week electric vehicle charging station maintenance program . It is expected that electric vehicle infrastructure jobs will increase by more than 800% by 2035. A big thanks to our partners from Accenture, General Motors, ChargerHelp!, GRID Alternatives , and BlocPower. Without their support, Goodwill would not be able to offer this program and help train workers for in-demand clean energy jobs, which are critical to the future of our workforce.
Congratulations to the class🎉it would be nice if in the future my Goodwill would offer this😁

3moThis is such good news. The possibilities abound, particularly for the recipients of the training. Exposing them to opportunities that empower their livelihoods and giving them the tools and knowledge in a field and ecosystem that is inevitably growing is invaluable. Congratulations to the graduates and the partnership!!!
