Co-Founder & CEO @ Cravd - Book a home chef to cook in your kitchen! | YC Alum W20, ODF 22, Relentless Entrepreneur
This all started with a craving—literally. When Avinash and I founded Cravd, it wasn’t just another startup idea. It was born from our own struggle as busy professionals and parents trying to balance everything while still wanting to provide healthy, home-cooked meals for our families. We tried everything—meal kits, takeout, even private chefs—but none of them truly worked for us. The hassle of cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, and planning was overwhelming. That’s when we realized, what if there were an easier way to book trusted home chefs who could provide personalized meals, clean up afterward, and manage grocery shopping? 💡 That was our aha moment. Cravd was created to solve a real problem we lived through. Now, we’re helping other busy families like ours find time for what matters, while still enjoying healthy, personalized meals at home. Building Cravd wasn’t just about entrepreneurship; it was about solving a challenge we knew so many people faced. It’s not just about tech, it’s about making people’s lives easier—starting with our own. #FounderStory #Entrepreneurship #Cravd #RealJourney #Startups

"If you can't sell it first, don't build it." From Ideas to Execution: Celebrating a Successful Exit at the Cindicates Party! At the recent Cindicates Party, a remarkable panel highlighted the journey of entrepreneurship with a focus on practical wisdom for budding founders. One standout moment came from Juan Orrego who shared his path from dropping out of university to founding his own business, Cuboh. His story is a testament to the entrepreneurial spirit—pivoting from a struggling analytics service for restaurants to creating a solution that integrates restaurant services with platforms like DoorDash and UberEats. The best piece of advice he shared? "If you can't sell it first, don't build it." This simple yet powerful statement underpins a crucial strategy in startup success—understanding market needs before developing solutions. This quote encapsulates the essence of lean startup methodology and serves as a reminder to all entrepreneurs that viability in the market comes before product development. If you're at the beginning stages of your startup journey, remember to validate your market first. #Entrepreneurship #StartupLife #BusinessStrategy #SaaS #CindicatesParty

The exciting metrics from Table & Kin show that our customer base has increased by an average of 60% month over month. Additionally, we have an impressive 87% reorder rate. When our very limited sponsored content reaches new customers, they experience our service and realise that our products are fresher and superior than those from supermarkets, shops, and farm-shops. As a result, they're more likely to become repeat customers. We strategically launched in Leicestershire and it's been a growing success. We also have a very scalable facetime to the business, that will be made clearer in the next few weeks. Due to this success, we plan to expand to London this year. The future looks very promising. Still bootstrapped! long may it continue! #tableandkin #business #startup
