I think we're all looking forward to better weather, here or abroad. There are though real subtleties to all consumer behaviour as people trade down, save and then splurge. These sporadic splurges haven't been enough yet to lift UK retail sales but with sunnier days ahead of us, there's growing reasons for optimism.
