Succeeding Together! I am sure that we have witnessed many success stories in our lives, and some of these success stories are most likely individual successes, while others are successes achieved by the masses. The phrase 'individual achievement' sounds so wonderful, doesn't it? 'I did it!' It's an amazing thing. Come on, let's change the picture a little. When we examine the countries that are considered developed in the world (on every subject you can think of), we see that the successes achieved belong to a group as a whole. Of course, the positive results shown by each part of this whole cannot be ignored, but what I want to say is this; These individuals see social development ahead of individual development. We see that acting with awareness of the benefits of a community where the art of living is practiced more joyfully has become the basic motto of these groups. There is a famous story the fact that a potato grower, when asked about the secret of the great quality of his products, credits the success of the potato growers around him shows us how important the issue we are trying to talk about is. I wish that we will demonstrate a beautiful art of living with the culture of 'success together' in every aspect of our lives and leave a wonderful legacy to future generations. TYCTWD is not about the snacks. For the first time, I didn't plan Take Your Child to Work Day on behalf of a company for other people's kids. Those days were fun and many snacks were eaten, yet learning was sparse. Today was all about my kids and immersing them in the world of their entrepreneurial parents. 6:30am - morning walk because we prioritize health (and coffee) 7:30am - make breakfast, clean, prep for the day because unpaid work is work 9:00am - doctors appointments because we blend work and life 11:00am - meet contractors from around the globe who are helping daddy build an incredible business; learn about project management 12:00pm - working lunch on the deck; discover core values and our love languages 1:30pm - create a family mission statement (coming soon), set individual goals 3:00pm - understand mommy's business, hear testimonials of mommy's work, learn the importance of networking 3:30pm - meet some HR pro's; practice introducing ourselves to strangers 6:00pm - celebration dinner (with a pop quiz to make sure they got it all!) Grateful beyond words to have the flexibility to spend the day like this, to have curious kids who genuinely seemed interested, and a partner in all entrepreneurial and co-parenting endeavors, Pete Turok.
