Did you know that 60% of children and young people globally report feeling extremely or very worried about climate change? 🌍 But why does this matter? Young people today are not just worried – they want to be heard and take action. At the same time, many of them face barriers. For example, 62,000 more young people are economically inactive compared to before the pandemic. This limits their ability to engage and create change. We believe young people need to be part of the climate conversation. After all, this is their future, and their voices are crucial. They’re not just inheriting the planet, they’re the changemakers who can protect it. 🌱 Let’s support them in becoming the environmental leaders our world needs. #YouthForChange #FutureLeaders #ClimateAction #YouthAction #SupportYoungPeople

Many nations in the developing world bear the brunt of climate change's disproportionate effects, despite being the smallest contributors to the issue. This imbalance highlights the urgent need for global cooperation and support to address climate change effectively. By working together and providing assistance to those most affected, we can strive towards a more sustainable and equitable future for all nations. It is crucial that developed countries take responsibility for their historical emissions and support developing nations in their efforts to mitigate and adapt to the impacts of climate change. Only through united action can we hope to combat this pressing issue and protect the planet for future generations. #sustainability United People Global #climatejustice
