I LOVE this campaign by fbeinghumble for #iwd2024 which is an initiative that encourages #men to ask for more in the workplace. The majority of the campaigns that come out around this time of year are all about encouraging. #women to speak up and to ask for more equal rights and a fair deal. What would happen if men and women joined forces and were included and encouraged to ask for more in the #workplace? 🌟 Today, as we celebrate International Women's Day (IWD) and I am deeply privileged and immensely proud do so alongside the diverse and inclusive workforce here at Gold Road Resources. For me, IWD signifies a time for celebrating our collective achievements, acknowledging the existing disparities, and finding the inspiration to drive positive change. 🎉 Picture a world where gender equality achieved. This would be a world rid of biases, stereotypes, and discrimination. It's a world characterised by diversity, equity, and inclusivity—a world where differences are not only valued but celebrated. Together, we hold the power to forge the path to women's equality. Through collective efforts, we can all #InspireInclusion. 🔍 Despite the progress made, it's evident that we still face significant gender pay gaps. However, instead of dwelling on the obstacles, I believe in directing our focus towards closing these pay gaps. There lie numerous opportunities for improvement within our grasp, waiting to be taken by whoever is courageous enough to make the change. 🤝Fostering connections among individuals is crucial in bridging the diversity gap and fostering understanding.
