It was great to sit down with Nolan Beilstein and talk about Gen Z in Manufacturing. Manufacturing has given me so much, and I’m passionate about changing the narrative around it. It’s not just about machines and assembly lines—it’s about innovation, technology, and building a sustainable workforce for the future. Many manufacturing jobs today aren’t in dirty or extreme environments, and the days of repetitive, tedious tasks are fading. Instead, we’re seeing a rise in high-skill, high-paying positions. Manufacturing is now a high-tech, innovative field, and many young people already have talents that can seamlessly transfer into this industry and lead to successful careers. It all starts with exposure and career exploration. At the iHUB we look to inspire not just the youth but anyone looking to break into the industry the opportunity and resources to do so.
