I love building processes, but I care about something else more. The promotions of the leaders who we build them with. One of my core values is "Leave people better off". Helping businesses is great, but helping people grow their careers is better. When a client is given a promotion because they can clearly show how a process improved under our watch, I am grinning from ear to ear. I really believe that business can be a force of good for people to make impact in their communities and provide for their families. That promotion means that they can afford more for their family, have better work life balance, find more joy in work, and hire more people. It lights me up. That's why I'm documenting the process work we've done for clients. So I can more consistently leave people better off. If you're driven by the same goal, check out my process playbook. You can find it in the link in the comments below. Let's make better processes that make people's lives better.

As the weekend approaches, I want to highlight the importance of achieving work-life balance in the corporate world. In our fast-paced professional lives, it's crucial to prioritize our well-being. Let’s face it: When urgent matters arise—a last-minute application, a crucial ruling—you have no choice but to drop everything to respond. Placing yourself under pressure to achieve work-life balance similar to those in 9 to 5 jobs can create the opposite effect: setting you up for inevitable failure and negatively impacting your well-being. Instead, accept that your life will be different and purposefully build a life and environment that accommodates the demands of your profession. Here’s how some of our seniors do it [https://lnkd.in/dHqw-DJn] LIKE or SHARE if you agree that for lawyers to achieve work-life balance in the traditional way, is pretty much a “mission impossible.”

We interviewed almost 50+ candidates during our recent Client Account Manager openings, and one of the most common questions I was asked was about Work-Life Balance. It's a topic that often sparks discussion and reflection, especially in today's fast-paced ecosystem. Let's take a moment to delve deeper. Isn't there a phase in our careers when we're fueled by an undying hunger to go above and beyond? A decade where we strive to attract every opportunity, pushing our limits to accelerate our growth? How do we truly understand what lies on the other side if we don't dare to push ourselves to the edge? Some may opt for a balanced approach, and that's perfectly fine. But for those of us with huge aspirations, those who dream of achieving something extraordinary, there comes a time when the concept of "Work-Life Balance" takes a backseat. It's in these moments of relentless pursuit that we uncover our true potential, shattering barriers and pushing the limits. To all the DREAMERS, the GO-GETTERS, and the ones who refuse to settle for mediocrity, let's embrace the journey, embrace the challenges, and embrace the moments of imbalance, for it is within these moments that we discover our capacity for greatness.

If you really enjoy your work, the idea of work-life balance doesn’t apply. My spiritual master taught me that once you master the art of doing what’s needed in the moment, without letting your thoughts, memories, or emotions interfere, you’ll never have to worry about work-life balance. This concept is just something made up by people who prefer staying comfortable. I know this might be an unpopular opinion, and I might receive a lot of disagreements, but that’s okay. How can you do great work without fully committing to it? And how can you lead a fulfilling life without doing meaningful work? Work and life are two sides of the same coin.
