It’s so obvious what’s happening. Lines companies and regulators need to get out of the way (and react much faster than they are) to let the flow accelerate. https://lnkd.in/g9k-z-v7

https://lnkd.in/g5U_M5CV If true, a welcome development and a space to look out for. Hope past Indian experience lessons, as to why it did not take off, are well incorporated to avoid a repeat. Concentrated Solar Power ( CSP) is an energy technology, which is closer to the standard brick & motor sector, which the Indian engineering industry can be more easily developed & scaled up over Solar PV (with lesser dependence from the outside world). Added to that the volatility of CSP generation is lower to Solar PV generation, and can possibly be with molten salt storage, which can present lesser materials & technology technology than the Lithium-ion batteries. The challenge would be to have appropriate Steam Turbines, that operate at lower temperatures ( & also pressure) than conventional coal based steam turbines. BHEL, Siemens India, etc may be well equipped to work at it.

We successfully represented a subsidiary of Harbour Energy plc in recent English High Court proceedings against Shell International Trading and Shipping Company Limited. The High Court’s judgment is useful reminder of how contractual provisions referring disputes to an expert should be interpreted and applied, as well as when the court will intervene in the process. The key take aways are set out in this briefing note. #oilandgas #energy #internationaldisputes
