Change needs pioneers. ✔ Ok...a cheesy buzz phrase to open with. But it's true. A lot of what we do in Enablement is about future proofing sales as a function. Finding what's not working anymore and instigating change. However small. To find what is working at the moment. "At the moment" is the key part though. ⬅ Sales is ever changing. What works today likely won't by this time next year. Or at least not as well. But change is hard. People are stuck in their ways. It's hard to see the wood for the trees when the way you've always done things isn't working as well as it once did...but the change has been slow and incremental rather than over night. ✨That means we need pioneers.✨ We need to pinpoint the people in our teams who can lead the way. Who are enthusiastic about trying new approaches. It's when those people see success with the "new way" that others start to pay attention. When the person 7th or 8th on the leader board is suddenly in the top 3 consistently. That's when they start to ask "well what are they doing differently?". 🤔 Change doesn't happen all at once.
