GRG Health conducted an in-depth case study to assess the unmet needs and emerging treatments for Phenylketonuria (PKU) patients. Current treatment options, such as diet management, Kuvan, and Palynziq, present challenges to adherence, efficacy, and tolerability. The study highlighted the potential of emerging treatments like Allosteric inhibitors and enzymatic tetrahydrobiopterin co-factors to address these limitations. GRG Health provided valuable insights into the evolving landscape of PKU treatment by engaging with 35 medical geneticists and metabolic specialists across the USA and EU5. The findings underscore the urgent need for more effective, patient-friendly therapies to improve clinical outcomes, highlighting the importance of addressing this issue. #Phenylketonuria #PKU #HealthcareResearch #PatientCare #EmergingTreatments #MetabolicDisorders #ClinicalOutcomes #PatientAdherence #InnovativeTherapies #MedicalResearch #TreatmentChallenges #GeneticDisorders #HealthcareSolutions #GlobalHealth #PatientCompliance Tanvi Kapoor Bahl
