That’s a wrap on Innovation Zero 2024! Specialists from our energy practice thoroughly enjoyed attending the Innovation Zero conference a few weeks ago. As well as meeting innovators from across the energy industry striving for a sustainable energy transition, we also gathered some key take aways from the insightful key notes and workshops. 🤝 Partnership between government and business was highlighted as a cornerstone for success, focusing on the integration of people, culture, and capital. 💲 A staggering $21 billion investment is needed to upgrade the grid to achieve Net Zero. A whole systems approach is essential, encompassing everything from technological advancements to skill development. 🚀 There is a need to anticipate future growth, build more infrastructure, and use data more effectively to understand local level dynamics and improve service flexibility.
