Can you believe we're already talking about 2025? If you're considering selling your home during the next spring market, it's time to start. Analysts are expecting another busy real estate market, so if you buy or sell in the next six months to a year, now is the time to start making your game plan. 1. Start cleaning, donating, decluttering, organizing, purging your closets and cabinets, and selling any old furniture you will replace when you get to your new home. The more you can do now, the less stressful it will be to prep for showings. 2. Start making your plan; where will you go once you sell? What will you do if your home sells before you find a new one? How will you prepare to compete in a multiple-offer situation? 3. Get your professional photography taken now. Wait to put up any seasonal decor until that photo shoot -- we don't want to market your home with a pumpkin on the front steps in February! 4. Have a "pre-inspection" if your home is older and needs repairs. The inspector can help identify potential red flags to buyers so you can have them fixed before showings. 5. Meet with your agent earlier than you think you need to. Talk through your goals and priorities and devise a solid strategy to help you do it. If you're ready for an initial conversation, drop a DM anytime, and one of our agents can set up an initial consultation 🙌🏼 RE/MAX Professionals 630-759-2850 WeArePros.com 440 W Boughton Rd Ste 102 Bolingbrook, IL 60440 #thelukasikteam #remaxprofessionals #remaxprofessionalsbolingbrook #bolingbrookrealtor #willcountyrealtor #dupagecountyrealtor #closingday #realestate #realestateadvice #realestatetips

We’ll make it easy for you... We had a client who had recently bought an old property The house was in a declining state, so it needed a lot of work inside and out We surveyed the property and sent out the quote within 48 hours The client was impressed with our communication and the highly detailed quote However, they said they could not afford the quoted works We then had a chat with them and helped them understand what portion of works were critical and most important, Breaking down our quote into different phases, this helped our client understand where they should begin with their restoration works. A phased quote was sent out and accepted. We got to work tackling the most important things in the first phase. Phase two will kick off in a few months' time, where more of the cosmetic areas will be worked on. As a home owner myself I know how daunting it is getting a quote for works to my home, Clear communication and transparency help our clients understand what we have quoted for and why. We can tailor the quote to fit around their needs and constraints. Real Estate agents and owners alike take many factors into consideration when wishing to sell a home, including where to advertise, whether to list with multiple agents, what and how much are similar homes priced in your area, setting a reasonable sales price, and enhancing the curb appeal of a house by getting rid of clutter and perhaps planting a few flowers or resodding part of the lawn.

"#McMansion" - newly constructed homes that some people don't like architecturally. Certain older homes? Architecturally historical monuments in need of forever preservation. Wonderful. So where does this put the buyer and seller - the ones with, or taking the financial risk? In my experience, 99% of the time the seller takes the money and the buyer does what they want according to the local #zoning laws. It's just the reality. #realestate #teardowns #valueinland #newconstruction
