The celebration of Mahashivratri in India encapsulates profound significance rooted in ancient tales and organic occurrences. Legends recount Lord Shiva's divine dance of creation, preservation, and destruction, alongside his selfless act of ingesting the halahala poison to save the world, resulting in his iconic blue neck as Neelkantha. Additionally, the sacred union of Shiva and Parvati symbolizes enduring love and cosmic balance. Moreover, Mahashivratri coincides with a natural drop in temperature in the northern hemisphere, prompting fasting and vigil practices that promote physical well-being by conserving energy and maintaining warmth. This amalgamation of mythological narratives and organic phenomena reflects the deep-rooted beliefs of our ancestors, intertwining divinity, scientific reasoning, and spiritual rituals. Ultimately, the celebration of Mahashivratri instills in believers a sense of faith, hope, and inner peace, encompassing holistic well-being encompassing physical, mental, and spiritual realms. Thus, Mahashivratri stands as a testament to the profound connections between tradition, science, and the divine, enriching lives and fostering harmony in the world.🌍 #mahashivratri2024 #shiva #adiyogi

11 Rudra Avatars of #Mahadev Shiva took birth on the earth as the eleven Rudras from the Kashyap wife’s (Surabhi) womb. These forms of the eleven Rudras are associated with the battles with demons in the past in order to save the people and Gods. Following are the name of Eleven Rudras: 1) Kapali 2) Pingal 3) Bheem 4) Virupaksha 5) Vilohit 6) Shastra 7) Ajapaad 8) Ahirbudhnya 9) Shambhu 10) Chand and 11) Bhav Rudra, Shiva and Mahadev all are one and the same. Rudra is one of the form of Shiva , where he wears a garland of Skulls, smears ashes of the Cremation grounds on His body, and wanders every where. A Purana narrates an incident associated with the term Rudra. One day Brahma asked Shiva to create some beings as he was getting bored by creating , ordinary mortals. Then, Shiva created few immortal beings called as Rudras... So, they were together called as 11 Rudras. Being the head of these immortal beings, Shiva is addressed as Rudra. Shiva is the benign aspect of Shiva , where as the contrast Rudra is the fierce aspect of Shiva , thus bring the contrasting features of Shiva ! " हर हर महादेव " 🚩🔱 #sanatandharma #Mahadev #india

Wishing everyone a heartfelt Makar Sankranti! Makar Sankranti is associated with several mythological stories. It is believed that on this day, Lord Sun visits his son Shani, and they meet at Shani's house. Since Shani is the ruler of Capricorn (Makar) zodiac, the day is known as Makar Sankranti. On Makar Sankranti, Ganga is said to have followed Bhagirath from Kapil Muni's ashram to the ocean, meeting him there. Bhagirath, the ancestor of King Sagar, observed a fast on this day to bring Ganga to Earth for his forefathers. This is why the Ganga Sagar Mela is held in the Bay of Bengal on Makar Sankranti. Even the great warrior Bhishma Pitamah from the Mahabharata chose to leave his body on Makar Sankranti. In Tamil Nadu, this festival is known as Pongal, while in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Kerala, it is celebrated as Sankranti. In different regions, Makar Sankranti is also known for different events. Vishnu declared the end of the war against the demons on this day. The heads of the demons were pressed into the Mandara mountain. Thus, it is considered a day to eliminate negativity and evil. When Yashoda observed a fast for the birth of Krishna, it is said that the Sun deity made its appearance in the northern hemisphere during Uttarayana, marking Makar Sankranti. Since then, the Makar Sankranti Vrat gained popularity. In essence, Makar Sankranti is a celebration rich in mythology, symbolizing the victory of good over evil, the reunion of family, and the transition to a positive phase marked by the Sun's journey. #makarsankranti #india #festivals #pmtindialearning #leadinmarketing

महाशिवरात्रि 🙌 ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम्। उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान् मृत्योर्मुक्षीय मामृतात्॥ Wishing you joy and blessings on this auspicious Mahashivratri! May Lord Shiva's divine energy inspire us to embrace change and lead a purposeful life. Why is Raw Milk offered to Shiva? #Mahadev is Adideva, Adinath, Mahakaal from whom whole cosmos has been created..In this Cosmos he loves everything what is raw in Nature. He is called Digambar. He likes Bhasma, Bilvapatra, Dadura, Raw milk. Everything that is raw is always offered to him. Devotees offer milk to Shiva as a symbol of Purity and Devotion. It is a common practice to pour milk over Shiva lingam (an abstract representation of Shiva) in temples as an act of Reverence..Why is milk offered to Lord Shiva? There are reasons why Shiva is offered milk; 1. Milk holds significance as a pure and sacred substance. It is believed to possess cleansing and purifying properties that can cleanse the mind and body of devotees when offered to Shiva. 2. Milk symbolizes fertility and abundance making it an auspicious offering for those seeking good fortune and prosperity from Shiva. 3. Offering milk to Shiva is also seen as a gesture of devotion and love towards the deity signifying the devotees affection. 4. In Hinduism, it is said that during the churning of the ocean Shiva consumed a poison that could have brought destruction upon the world. By drinking this poison he saved humanity. Hence offering milk to Lord Shiva is believed to help cleanse his body from that poison. ॐ नमः शिवाय : #mahashivratri #harharmahadev #Culture #inspiration #india #lordshiva #sanatandharma #महाशिवरात्रि #Mahashivratri #LordShiva #HarHarMahadev #OmNamahShivaya #Shivratri2024 #MahaShivaratri2024 #ShivaFestival #DivineShiva
