Great to be back again serving as emcee at the 17th Annual Hearts of Texas Luncheon, honoring Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, Randy Bowman, Community Partners of Dallas and the Lewisville ISD. Volunteerism transforms lives! Thanks to Volunteer Now CEO, Rachel Currie Triska, for inspiring her incredible team. Americans gave 4.1 billion hours of service to humanity as volunteers last year. There's nothing more impactful than making a difference in the lives of those who need it most. In competitive markets, clients can see us as technically alike, so how do we differentiate ourselves, how do we help people trust us, how do we show up at our best? An ex actor and now executive coach and facilitator, I shared 3 simple skills through interactive activities and games (because we learn best by doing!) at Successo Network’s 1st birthday, on how to create impact, how to make your message stick and how to build trust. 🙂 First impressions count so set a positive mindset. This is the one that works for me, ‘what would it be like when everything goes well?’ 🎹 Music, words & dance - use open gestures and open body language (dance), purpose in the words you choose (words) and passion in how you say them (music). ✅ Structure - a hook (a question, statistic or surprise work well), the power of 3 (reduce your message to 3 things, less is more) and tell us a story, because we all connect when struggle transforms to success! #positivemindset #musicwordsdance #storytelling
