The European Parliament is prioritizing competitiveness and sustainability as top issues in the next European mandate. The Digital Product Passport (DPP), under the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), can be a key instrument to help build product circularity while preserving competitiveness. Avery Dennison is committed to supporting businesses in this transition and leveraging Digital Product Passports to enhance product traceability, improve recyclability, and lower carbon footprints. Today on #SDG flag day we are proudly holding the flag at our NVZ - Schoon | Hygiënisch | Duurzaam office in Utrecht. We strongly believe that our sector plays a crucial role in realizing the SDGs. Given, for instance, the contribution to good hygiene, which is crucial for good health. Furthermore, our products are essential for the maintenance and/or reuse of our goods and buildings.   In addition to this inherent contribution to the SDGs, our sector continues to improve its sustainability profile. A good example is the AISE International Association for Soaps, Detergents and Maintenance Products Charter for Sustainable Cleaning, a comprehensive #sustainability assurance scheme for promoting best practices within the industry that covers the whole life cycle of a product.   Our history of driving sustainable progress goes back more than 30 years.
