Optimizing battery life in small devices is tricky. To keep things low cost, a small battery is required. But Wifi and LEDs are power hungry! A small drone battery (420 mAh) barely lasts 5 hours running continuously with Wifi and LEDs. Once the battery voltage drops below 3.5V, it breaks down quickly and becomes unusable. Our Zeomancer weather stations (and sensor) device has built-in solar for recharging and optimizations to conserve battery life.
