Of course, while getting this ready, we didn't yet hear the news about Hewlett Packard Enterprise's plan to acquire Juniper Networks. But now that we all know, it's worth listening to Phil Mottram's (EVP and GM of HPE Aruba Networking) predictions for this upcoming year and viewing them through the lens of a potential joint entity. Certainly, the Mist and Apstra assets play into the AI portion. Zero-trust comes from the HPE side of the equation (given last year's Axis Security acquisition to bolster in-house capabilities), but Juniper has security assets too. On the private 5G front, HPE bought Athonet recently and HPE Aruba previously partnered with startup Celona. Celona is often seen partnered with Juniper in the market (especially recently), especially with the Mist team. In any case, before I muse too much, you should definitely take time to watch Phil's prediction video - it won't take up too much time - he's succinct.
NextGenInfra.io #NGIPredictions2024 features thought leaders in infrastructure technology (#infratech) sharing their top predictions for the upcoming year. Phil Mottram, EVP and GM of HPE Aruba Networking unveils his predictions for the networking landscape in 2024. Could private 5G, AI, and zero trust security transform your enterprise this year?
