Husband: Are you working on a company holiday and on Black Friday? Me: Yes and I’ll be right back. Going to pjs coffee for a quick meeting with my colleague in Paris. Just keep playing your music. Husband: You are a workaholic. Me: I have a project and I want to finish it in November. No one said I had to do it. I wanted to do it. It’s very important to know who you are. It makes navigating work, life, and relationships so much easier. I do seek balance, but I truly enjoy doing a job well. I know my strengths and weaknesses and work to balance them. 2024 is my pivot year. I believe that I am doing will help set up the rest of this journey. I felt I was getting a little too removed from being immersed in technology. Sounds weird because our entire lives rely on technology. Some days I love Gates and Jobs and other days I curse them. I pivoted this year to purposefully be closer to the edge. Yes I do some production support, yes I write SQL, I schedule jobs and more. I still focus on process improvement and operational excellence. It’s important to me to understand the intricacies of position in order to help people be the best they can be. I am excited to do these projects. I know that I can still get my hands dirty and show up to a leadership meeting and bridge the gap. I will continue to embrace my 🦄 status. #happyholidays #embraceyou #workaholic

Do you have a “work spouse”? That person who doesn’t just show up for work—they show up for you. The one who: Inspires and challenges you to grow. Reminds you why your work matters. Makes the hard days easier and the good days even better. Thanksgiving was yesterday—a time to reflect on what we’re thankful for. Today might be about discounts and sales, but the relationships we build—with teammates, partners, and clients/customers—are where the true value lies. Gratitude isn’t limited to a holiday. It’s a daily practice of noticing, connecting, and appreciating the people who make work + life meaningful. Who’s that person for you? 🙌 Tag your “work spouse” or someone who makes work better. 🔄 Share this post to spread the insight. 📧 Subscribe to Doing CX Right® News for useful strategies: https://bit.ly/DXR_News ⭐️ Follow me for more on creating meaningful workplaces that fuel better customer experiences. Do Sunday Scaries always haunt you? Instead try Forward-thinking Friday. Wrapping up another work week, take a moment to reflect and set ourselves up for success in the week ahead. Friday isn’t just the end of a week—it’s the perfect opportunity to recharge and reset. Take stock of what went well and where you faced challenges. Celebrate those wins, no matter how small, and learn from the setbacks. Looking forward to Monday, think about one or two goals you want to tackle first. Break them down into manageable steps so you can hit the ground running. A little planning today can make all the difference when the new week kicks off. Let’s close out this week strong and set ourselves up for even greater things ahead! #tgif

You know how people talk about “overnight success”? The one where you magically leapfrog between jobs, skip the late nights, and somehow—POOF—you’re a C-level exec living the dream? Yeah, well, I must’ve missed that memo! For me, “overnight success” has looked more like 8 years of steady growth at Lifesight —one step at a time in different geos. I’ve gone from learning the ropes to driving acquiring new customers, strategic account growth, and managing 300+ accounts (with a few late nights sprinkled in for good measure). The best part? We’re seeing amazing growth quarter after quarter! But let’s be real—I didn’t do this alone. Big shoutout to the dream team— Reshma A C Chandan Prakash Maroon maria Aju Brooke C. Kit Yin Chia Sapna Manoj Hari John Ronald Suraj PV —you’ve been the true MVPs on this journey. And a massive thank you to Tobin Thomas , our CEO, for always believing in us and allowing me to grow with such an awesome group. Turns out, building meaningful partnerships and creating world-class customer experiences isn’t a one-day thing—it’s a day-by-day thing. Who would’ve guessed? 😅 So, here’s my little nugget of wisdom: If you’re hunting for that magic success hack, here it is—show up, learn nonstop, build real relationships, and stay consistent. It’s the long game that pays off, and trust me, it’s totally worth it. #SuccessStories #GrowthMindset #CustomerExperience #Teamwork #LongTermWins

Friday vibes hit different when you love what you do. 🚀 I used to dread Mondays and live for Fridays. Now? Every day feels like an opportunity. Here's what changed: 1. Found my passion in HR tech 2. Focused on solving real problems 3. Embraced data-driven decision making 4. Celebrated small wins along the way Result? Work doesn't feel like work anymore. Friday's still awesome, but so is every other day. What makes your work fulfilling? #HappyFriday #WorkLifeBalance #HRTech

Last Friday, I "played McKinsey", painting slides until midnight. I much prefer these "sprints", working 0 on Wed/Sat/Sun, since years. 2-3x per quarter in my 4-day work week, these 15h days really move the needle. Here's what I got done last Friday - which gives me peace of mind for days: - Elevate our Pipeline Generation & Sales Enablement offering - Drive, craft & ship 6-figure weighted pipeline - Engaged 3 (to be) A+ core team talent - Schedule this post (Dad Day today) How do you approach "The Hustle"? Do you prefer 4x 9-10h days? Or 5 to 6 8-12h days? What works for YOU? *Whatever "Great Work-Life-Integration" means for you personally: Let nobody else tell you how to life your life - if it make you happy.

Name 5 things that make you happy in the job market today. Here’s mine: 1: People are upskilling like never before. I’m constantly amazed at the things candidates are bringing to the table. Better yet, they are proud of what they’ve achieved. There are technical folks who are building their creative skills. Creatives who are building their project managing skills. And so on. 2: We have the gift of time returning to us in a way that’s been stalling for decades, perhaps since the 5-day work week was introduced in 1926. Today, we have lots of remote and hybrid work options. Even full-time in-office workspaces are more flexible than ever before. 3: It’s not one size fits all. Companies are accommodating people of all backgrounds and abilities. Roles and work conditions are adjusted to get the best performance out of people, rather than asking people to change themselves. 4: Hobbies and secondary careers are celebrated, not something you have to hide. Weekend rock singers? Food bloggers? Small business owners? I love seeing how people feed their souls outside of work. 5: We’re logging off when we’re done. The days of answering emails on the weekend or at the dinner table is going out of fashion. And if you’re not doing this, I encourage you to consider it. Yes, it’s been a tough time in the market, but a lot of good changes have emerged in the past several years too. Let’s remember to celebrate that and not just get lost in the doom and gloom. Happy Friday!

This is Bill. He became an executive at Google by working a 4 day week. That's right - when we interviewed him this year he shared that when he switched from 5 days to 4 days, everything shifted. What happened? He literally just asked all the people he managed what he was doing that was NOT valuable. Then he stopped doing those things. And he reinvested that time into the most important things. And despite working roughly 20% less he achieved far more (literally breaking the performance band for his role at that time). Eventually this led to promotion to an executive position. The lesson: rethink work. It's not time, but value. It's not inputs, but outputs. It's not hours, but results. When it comes to work, less can be more. 🤣 Two Employees Walk Into an Office… 💼 1️⃣ The Loyalist: Sticking with one company, growing with it, and building a legacy. 🌱✨ 2️⃣ The Explorer: Switching companies frequently, chasing growth, new challenges, and fresh opportunities. 🚀💼 One Story about Office Employees - Once upon a time in an office far, far away 👔 Employee 1 - joined the company and became part of the furniture. Every year, they celebrated their work anniversary like it was a birthday party: Boss: "You’re still here?" Employee 1: "Of course! Loyalty is my middle name!" Boss: Nervous laugh "Uh, great… here's a pen as your 10-year gift!" 🎁🖊️ Meanwhile… 🚀 Employee 2 couldn’t even memorize the office Wi-Fi password before sending out their next job application. HR: "You're leaving again?" Employee 2: "It’s not you, it’s me… I need growth! 🌱" HR: "You started last Monday!" Employee 2: "And what a journey it’s been!" Moral of the story? Some build their empire in one place. Others explore the galaxy of opportunities. Both are writing their own success stories—one pen at a time, the other resignation letter by resignation letter! Which type are you? Or better yet, which type do you work with? Share your funniest workplace stories below! 😂👇 . . . #OfficeHumor #CareerGrowth #EmployeeStories #Wiz91 #Wiz91Techonologies Images Credit :- Marketing Mind

One of my priorities this year is to build and maintain more of my connections to friends and colleagues. We spend so much of our time at work, and the people you spend your time with make such a difference in your life. When you’re not on the same team, company, or city, it can be challenging to stay connected, and it’s easy to see why pausing to take the time to check in can inadvertently end up being deprioritized. But these pauses are so important - taking the time to disconnect from everything that’s happening around you, to connect to those that are in front of you, pays off in dividends.💸 Over the past two weeks, I’ve been following up with friends and colleagues to find time to reconnect. One of my favorite ways to do this so far has been through virtual coffee chats (I was fully booked last Friday)! No agenda, no defined topics, just a space to check in and see how things are going. Let me tell you - it has been so refreshing and enlightening. At the end of long weeks of applying, interviewing, and drafting cover letters, having a space to share updates, stories, and laughs is the exact bookend I want to end my work week with. Beyond virtual coffee chats, I’ve also been lucky enough to reconnect with coworkers in a variety of other ways! Here are some of my ⭐favorites⭐ : 🥪 Lunches (of course!) 🧁 Delivering home-baked goods (I'm convinced my scones are better than any bakery in the states), 🏞️ Walks around Golden Gate park 🎵 Exchanging music recommendations 🎴 Sending postcards from travels ✒️ Long-form emails (honestly, writing a non-business email like a letter is refreshing) Thank you to everyone that has offered their support to me so far, and for taking the time to stay connected. The time I spent self-reflecting has shown me how much human connection fills my cup, and I’m lucky to have so many opportunities to do exactly that. And if you were looking for an excuse to get back in touch with me - this is it! shoot me a DM for a coffee chat! ☕ until then, please enjoy one of my favorite views from the SF office from a lunch I had last week with a friend 🌉
