This butterfly-shaped inclusion has us all aflutter! 🦋 Positioned at the center of a 1.01 carat triangular portrait-cut diamond, it looks like a colorful insect trapped within ice. The “butterfly” is actually a crystal surrounded by a stress halo that exhibits iridescence. This one-of-a-kind diamond was graded E color, I2 clarity by GIA. Generally, diamonds with high clarity grades like VVS1 and VVS2 are more sought-after than diamonds with visible inclusions. In this case, the unique inclusion could increase the appeal of the diamond, despite its lower clarity grade. TVD💎: https://lnkd.in/dwCeK4dv

The Fascinating World of Black and White Diamonds ✨💎 Did you know diamonds on the D-to-Z scale aren't actually "white"? They're typically in the colorless to near-colorless range. White diamonds, seen here alongside black diamonds, are unique because their colors are due to inclusions that scatter or absorb light, reducing transparency. Black and white diamonds often fall below I3 on the clarity scale due to these inclusions, which give them their distinctive appearance. Famous black diamonds include the 67.50 carat Black Orlov and the 312.24 carat Spirit of de Grisogono. White diamonds, rarer and typically smaller, also owe their appearance to inclusions. Learn more about these intriguing diamonds at www.YourDiamondGuys.com. Which do you prefer—black or white diamonds? ✨ What Are Diamond Inclusions? ✨ Did you know that most diamonds have natural imperfections called inclusions? These are tiny internal flaws formed due to the intense heat and pressure during the diamond's creation process. 💎✨ While diamonds are 99.95% carbon, the remaining 0.05% consists of trace elements that create these inclusions. But don't worry – they don't affect the beauty of your diamond unless they are significant! Remember, inclusions are different from blemishes. Inclusions are internal, while blemishes are external surface flaws. Both can impact a diamond's clarity, but they also give each diamond its unique character! 🌟 💍 Looking for the perfect diamond? Tittle: IDENTITY IN WINTRY WINDS. Medium: Charcoal, Graphite, Acrylic & Fabric on Paper Size: 56cm x 74cm Year: 2023 I portray the nuanced emotional terrain of a recently relocated African woman in the UK in Identity in Wintry Winds. The face, which is rendered in extremely lifelike detail, conveys a deep story of cultural dislocation and the difficulties of adjusting to a new setting. With her face nestled in her hands, the woman's expression conveys the metaphorical and actual coldness of her surroundings. She represents the friction between her original identity and the new cultural expectations she faces, dressed in a fabric depicting the UK flag. This clothing is an effective representation of the urge to integrate into a foreign culture, often at the expense of one's own heritage. The sharp contrast between her warmth and the chilly, muted background emphasises the emotional and exterior hardships of immigration, when staying connected to one's roots while navigating the complexity of a new world becomes a delicate balance. The title, Identity in Wintry Winds, relates to the subject's perseverance and inner fortitude. Despite the frigid climate, there remains a steadfast sense of identity that can survive the 'wintry winds' of change. I employed evocative images to address issues of belonging, alienation, and the quest for self-discovery in a foreign environment. Through this art piece, I invite the audience to consider the larger stories of cultural shift, the need to find warmth in a cold environment, and the resilience of people who go through it, in order to better understand the immigrant experience.

Creating an accurate price list for fancy color diamonds presents an impossible challenge due to the vast array of visual attributes that significantly impact their value. To comprehensively cover just the primary hues - yellow, pink, and blue - such a list would need to account for approximately 16 million different price points to cover most carat weights. This staggering number arises from the intricate interplay of inner-grade, intensities, undertones, dispersion, fluorescence, ratio, face-up appearance and more that each diamond exhibits. However, even with this detailed approach, translating these nuanced variations into a tangible, universally applicable price list remains unpractical. The inherent complexity and individuality of each fancy color diamond make it impossible to standardize their valuation through a price list. . . . #FCRF #FancyColorResearchFoundation #FancyColor #FancyColorDiamond #ColorDiamond #rarediamond #inner-grade # #dispersion #undertones #pricelist

Symmetry is vital to enhancing the allure of fancy-shaped diamonds like pear shapes. Scarves of Symbolism: Exploring Identity Through Colour The symbolism of both the red and grey scarf on a man conveys layers of meaning, reflecting various aspects of his identity and character. The red scarf may symbolize passion, vitality, and courage. It can represent warmth, energy, and a bold personality. Red is often associated with love, desire, and intensity, suggesting that the man may be passionate and deeply emotional. Additionally, red can signify power, strength, and leadership, indicating that the man may be assertive, ambitious, and influential in his endeavours. On the other hand, the grey scarf may symbolize neutrality, sophistication, and subtlety. Grey is often associated with balance, stability, and practicality. It can represent maturity, wisdom, and composure, suggesting that the man may be calm, composed, and rational in his approach to life. Grey can also signify intelligence, professionalism, and sophistication, indicating that the man may have a refined taste and a discerning eye for detail.
