Using safety tips and tools can help companies protect workers AND show they care. You might think you’ve got it sorted, but these error prevention tips will up your game! 💪 Safety culture could not be more crucial for a good work environment. But even now, with all that we know, accident numbers can creep up: in 2022, US govt figures showed 2.8m workplace injuries, up 7.5% from the year before. Why not try some of these accident prevention recommendations? 🗣️ Have a system for reporting hazards & near misses. And make it non-punitive: nobody should feel bad for improving outcomes! 🧹 Keep workspaces clean & organised. Mess makes for mistakes. Why not have a regular tidy-up time for the team with a prize for the neatest space? ✔️ Skip no step: taking safety shortcuts should be a taboo. (But check those steps are still working like they should!) 👀 ‘See it, say it, sort it’, as they say on UK trains: situational awareness can be honed and is better than any electronic system. 🚧 Safety First! 🚧 In the workplace, some workers might mistakenly believe they can skip safety equipment, driven by past experiences or a misplaced sense of confidence. This dangerous mindset, often fuelled by inadequate training or pressure to cut corners, puts everyone at risk. 😓 Employers who prioritize speed or cost over safety may not provide the necessary equipment, leaving workers vulnerable. The most significant hazard in such scenarios is falling, which can lead to death, severe injuries like fractures, head trauma, or spinal damage. Additionally, falling objects pose a serious threat, endangering those below. Let's prioritize safety, follow protocols, and ensure everyone goes home safe! 🦺💪 #safetyawareness #safetyatwork #safetyfirst #safety #safetytips #workplacesafety #safetycareer #abudhabhijobs #safetyingulf #safetyjobs #experttrainersacademy
