Help improve blood pressure management in Australia ♥️ Researchers at The George Institute for Global Health, affiliated with The University of New South Wales, Sydney are wanting to understand healthcare practitioners’ current knowledge, attitudes and practices related to regular salt and potassium-enriched salt particularly in the context of blood pressure management. They are asking general practitioners (GPs), nurse practitioners, general practice nurses, medical specialists, and allied health professionals working in clinical practice in Australia and involved in the care of individuals with high blood pressure to complete a short 5-10 minute online survey to explore this topic. Your survey responses will help researchers to develop appropriate strategies towards improving the management of patients with high blood pressure in Australia such as recommendation of potassium-enriched salt in clinical practice. Project Overview: The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has contracted with Yale New Haven Health Services Corporation – Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE) to develop a measure of emergency care capacity and quality. This measure will be an electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM) investigating emergency department (ED) care capacity and quality. The contract name is Measure & Instrument Development and Support (MIDS): Development, Reevaluation, and Implementation of Outpatient Outcome/Efficiency Measures, Option Period 4. The contract number is HHSM-75FCMC18D0042. As part of its measure development process, CORE requests interested parties to submit comments on the candidate or concept measures that may be suitable for this project. The primary objective of this project is to evaluate the equity of emergency care capacity and quality.
