Latin Resources Limited has defined a Maiden Resource Estimate at Fog’s Block for approximately 6.8Mt @ 0.9% Li2O Inferred at a cut-off grade of 0.5% Li2O. Drilling first commenced at Fog’s Block in August 2023 and based on 9 holes #LRS completed sufficient drilling for a maiden inferred resource to be defined. Fog’s Block remains open up-dip, at depth and along strike and #drilling continues to test for extensions to the defined deposit and build on the maiden resource. Have you got difficult terrain and non typical drill target? Castle Drilling have you covered. Rather than blow your exploration budget out on earthworks and delay it with permiting, what about rethinking how to drill the target. Rigs currently avaliable between programs. Increased lateral lengths have been a major driver of increased production in unconventional plays over the last decade. But looking across the Lower 48, we find large differences in current mix and historical trends. What's going on? All the unconventional plays, with the exception of the Williston, primarily had average lateral lengths of ~1 mile ten years ago. The Williston, with good geology for drilling horizontals and a regulatory environment that made it easier to pool leases into 2 mile x 1 mile units, had an average lateral length of two miles even back in 2012. Today, the undisputed champ of long laterals is Appalachia, with a majority of the recent wells being longer than two miles, and over a third reaching 3 miles or longer. With strong production efficiencies for long laterals and surface constraints pushing towards more reservoir access from fewer sites, operators have continually increased lateral lengths. (I am guessing the highly competitive economic environment also encourages innovation, but maybe some readers more familiar with the in-basin situation can chime in). The Permian, Eagle Ford, Powder River, and Haynesville have all seen continual increases in lateral length. If you've been listening to any recent IR calls, you'll know that ability to drill longer laterals has continually been brought up as synergies for M&A activity. Interestingly, even the Barnett and Arkoma, two of the original unconventional plays, have seen longer laterals in recent years. Although the overall number of new wells in those basins is very small, operators have managed to drill longer laterals there. Very cool! We have been studying these with our models, and will have more to report in the new year. As we are now getting more longer-term data on 3+ mile laterals, we can start to have an opinion about how they will perform later in life. #permian #marcellus #oilgas

Australian Rare Earths mentioned in the Apirl 2024 Paydirt Media Pty Ltd magazine. "AR3 expects the remaining results from an 8,750m, 694-hole drilling campaign testing a 10km northern strike extension before the June quarter with some 82% of 184 holes returning grades above a 350 ppm cutoff. Intercepts of 2m @ 1,387 ppm rare earths from 3m, with 18.5% neodymium/praseodymium and 1.6% dysprosium and 2m @ 1,169 ppm rare earths from 3m with 21.7% neodymium/praseodymium and 2% dysprosium have given clues to inform exploration later in the year." - Michael Cameron at Paydirt Read the full magazine here: https://lnkd.in/guqtH3k #rareearths #criticalminerals #uranium #transitionmetals #cleanenergy #exploration #resources #development #sustainable #southaustralia #media #drilling Travis Beinke Bryn Jones Noel Whitcher Angus Barker Chris Cockburn Rick Pobjoy Tau Media Pty Ltd Genna Bower Jessica Lee (Holland) Fertig Nick Wilke Denham Hobbs Aaron Fidge Shane Brice

#StockBox #GMET StockBox caught up with Golden Metal Resources Plc CEO Oliver Friesen following the exploration update at the Company’s 100% owned flagship Pilot Mountain Project Watch below ⬇ https://lnkd.in/e8uzaqCP ➡ The recent high-resolution magnetic survey at the Pilot Mountain project in Nevada, revealed a significant underground mineral body potentially indicating a Porphyry #Copper system. ➡ The survey, which followed historical low-resolution findings, aimed to increase confidence in the presence of significant mineralization, specifically targeting the "Porphyry South Target" area. The 3D imagery from the survey shows a promising anomaly at about 350 meters depth. ➡ The survey results exceeded expectations and discusses the geological significance of the findings, hinting at a potentially large mineral system. ➡ Drilling is scheduled to begin on May 11th, with the aim to confirm the subsurface geology and mineral potential. The results will guide further exploration and could significantly impact the company's operations and understanding of the region's mineral resources
