A recent article by HOTELS magazine’s Editor-in-Chief David E. quoted Chris Nassetta, president and CEO of Hilton on the results of the group’s Q1 earnings report: “One of the bright spots was group travel and performance, which came in at the high end of the range. For the full year, group position is up 13% versus last year, Nassetta said. “We’re hearing from our big corporate customers they’re traveling more. How does your airline manage hotel rooms for disrupted passengers? Do you negotiate rates that you only get when the hotel is half empty? Does somebody call hotels daily to gather inventory? How long do you wait for a voucher to show up at a hotel before you reissue it? How many airport returns do you get on a busy night? Do you get complaints about shuttle and check-in wait times? What happens when you run out of rooms? Every one of these questions can be answered simply by using Digital Vouchers and letting passengers choose their own hotel. #airline #disruption #customerexperience #passengerexperience #digitalvouchers #cancellation

100% hotel bookability through TMC, 81% program compliance and 16.2% hotel category savings, all within the first quarter of the program launch.
