Professional Certified Performance Coach for CEOs, CEO Peer Group Facilitator, Speaker, and Entrepreneur
Here are 5 of the top CEOs in Dallas. Blake, Nick, Chris, Amit and Shayne are doing their homework for our retreat. Amit Patel would not even look up to take a picture. I guess that’s why he’s a doctor. I cannot express the magnitude that these 5 CEO’s are changing the business landscape. Though they’re in my group, I learn so much from their brilliance. I’m glad to also call them friends. They epitomize what it means to be Intrepid CEO’s!!! #Vistage #IntrepidCEO #CEO Vistage Worldwide, Inc. Nick Parker Christopher Graham Amit M Patel Shayne Reich

As we continue celebrating #BlackHistoryMonth, meet Samer Yousif, who recently was named to Venture Forward’s list of Black investors making a big impact in VC. ❓ What do you do at Insight? (Samer) I’m a Senior Associate at Insight Partners, where I co-lead the 20/20 Vision Capital Fund, Insight’s fund of funds strategy investing into underrepresented, emerging managers. We are currently investing from 20/20 Vision Capital Fund II, a $118M vehicle. I oversee several aspects of the 20/20 Vision Capital Fund, including sourcing, diligence, and portfolio management. I work closely with our Sourcing and DGS team members to identify and back the best-emerging managers in venture capital. 🧠 What is one thing you wish you had known when you began your career? (Samer) I took a pretty circuitous route to my current role. After receiving my Masters in Global Policy Studies, I thought that my career would largely focus on politics and policy-making, primarily because I wasn’t aware of other opportunities that married my focus on entrepreneurship and racial equity. I’d push my younger self to focus more on the impact that I wanted to have, rather than a specific role, and then identify opportunities that would let me reach that goal. I also wish I’d understood how non-linear careers are and that I didn’t have to have a long-term career strategy to be successful. I just needed to focus on making the right next step in my career and eventually, I’d end up where I wanted to be. 🤝 Talk about a significant mentorship moment in your life (Samer) I’ve been blessed with incredible mentors and sponsors throughout my career. I absolutely wouldn’t be here without them taking me under their wing and supporting me throughout my career. A mentor of mine, who has become a close friend, was one of the first to vouch for me, adding me to projects and initiatives that would help me learn and network early on in my career. They spoke highly of me to their peers, which gave me legitimacy and credibility, likely before I fully deserved it. And they believed in me, encouraging me to stretch and grow further than I thought I could. That support was and continues to be invaluable to me in my career, and I hope to have a similar impact on those coming after me as well.

I guide Business Owners and CEOs to Achieve Organizational Excellence Through Strategic Transformation | Unlock full potential of you business now! | Message me to learn how.
Are you finding the Pot of Gold at the End of the Rainbow? Did you know these legends related to St. Patrick's Day? I learned it yesterday and got some suddent reflections and link to Organizational Performance. I'm not Irish, but my kids were asked to come in green to kindergarten last Friday, to appreciate the coming St. Patrick. And the holiday is full of fun and joy, so it's pleasure to observe and figure out some pecularities. St. Patrick's Day, with its symbols of luck, growth, and transformation, shares more with organizational performance than one might think. Just as St. Patrick is said to have transformed Ireland, organizations are constantly undergoing transformations to achieve growth and success. 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 The luck associated with St. Patrick's Day can be likened to the serendipitous opportunities organizations must seize to excel. However, as the saying goes, "Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity." It's the strategic planning and readiness of an organization that truly turns these opportunities into gold. 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗹 Spring, closely associated with St. Patrick's Day, symbolizes growth and renewal—core aspects of any organization aiming for high performance. Just as the season brings new life, organizations must continually nurture growth through innovation, learning, and development. 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆 St. Patrick's transformation of Ireland is legendary. Similarly, organizations strive to transform their market presence and leave a lasting legacy. This requires visionary leadership, a strong culture, and a commitment to values that drive positive change. 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 The communal spirit of St. Patrick's Day, where everyone comes together to celebrate, underscores the importance of unity and teamwork in achieving organizational goals. A cohesive team that shares a common purpose is more effective in navigating challenges and reaching performance milestones. Inspired by St. Patrick's Day, there is a desire to promote the luck, growth, and transformation in organizations. May we all find our pot of gold through strategic effort, collaboration, and a dash of serendipity. How did you celebrate St. Patrick's? Did you wear funny costume? Did you look for a rainbow? #StPatricksDay #highperformingteams #leadership

Brand Specialist | Ensuring small business owners are confident and proud of their brand | Brand Strategy Course for SME's| Logo Design | Brand Strategy
I can't quite believe that it has been 10 years since I set up Acknowledge. The time has gone so quickly and what a journey I have been on as a business owner... ✅ Decided to leave my job whilst on maternity leave with our eldest. ✅ Started working as a freelance designer for a year or so. ✅ Setup Acknowledge without ANY knowledge of running a business but full of excitement and hope. ✅ Had two more children whilst building up the business ✅ Learned how to build a brand ✅ Grew a following with marketing ✅ Learned how to sell ✅ Survived covid ✅ Built business relationships and expanded my network thanks to Collaborate MK , Busy Women Networking, and The Athena Network ✅ Started my second business The Edge Brands ✅ Became a finalist and an award winner ✅ Growing my businesses still with 5 on the team I mean that's a quick snapshot of the business growth I have been on, there's so much more behind that and so much more still yet to do and learn. If you're sitting on the fence about starting a business - I would say - go for it! My biggest takeaway from a decade in business: always be ready to learn. ❤️ #businessownertips #entrepreneur
