To buy a Salik toll system introduces variable pricing for peak and off peak hours starting January 31 to 2025. In a bid to tackle congestion and enhance traffic flow, Dubai is rolling out a dynamic new Salik Toll system that will introduce different toll rates based on the time of day. The move, set to launch on January 31st, 2025, is a significant step towards streamlining the city's road network and making commuting more predictable for drivers. How the new system works Weekdays Morning peak 6 AM, 10:00 AM DHC 6. Evening peak 4 PM 8:00 PM DHC 6 Off Peak hours 10 AM, 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM One AM DH4. Sundays, except for public holidays, special occasions or major events. DH4 throughout the day. For those traveling at late hours, Salik will be completely free between 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM.
