After a four-year hiatus in exports, Western Marine Shipyard, one of the country's leading shipbuilders, is set to export at least eight ships over the next 14 months, including three destined for the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The Open Government Partnership (OGP) has appointed Aidan Eyakuze as its new Chief Executive Officer, tasked with leading the 76 member countries of OGP and its partners to advance government transparency. Earlier today, Aidan announced his departure from Twaweza East Africa , where he served as Executive Director for nearly a decade.
