We’re looking for an Associate Consultant to join our team. The ideal person will have a mix of experience and education within the evaluation, community research, or other related field. In this contributor role, you will apply your curiosity, equity-focused practices, organizational and communication skills, and an affinity for data among collaborative teams to help clients understand more about their programs or organizations, how they can best do their work, and ways to improve outcomes for the people they serve. While every project varies, you will generally go through a process of asking questions, gathering information from communities, and interpreting what you learn to inform recommendations for positive change. You will also be supported by an experienced lead who can help guide your work and provide you with roles and responsibilities that leverage your strengths or lean into desired areas of growth. My team and I are busy recruiting excellent staff to complement our existing research management team. The recruitment drive reflects our growth spurt in research and Knowledge Exchange activities. Some tips to potential applicants: 1 - Ensure you apply for the right role and use the correct job title 2 - Do customise your application to the actual job description and skills required 3 - If you are an academically employed colleague wishing to transfer to research management, clarify your transferable skills and interest in research management 4 - Do not send an academic CV and application for a senior research management role, unless the position clearly suggests that this would be useful , e.g. when it's a hybrid, third-space role (also see above about customising your application) 5 - Do chat to the hiring manager about the role in advance, if you can. It can save everyone a lot of time.
