Head of Strategy (Digital) : #ardhendukumarbose Imaginative Innovator, Implementer and Guarantor of targeted profits
The Babri Masjid demolition in 1992 was a complex event with multiple contributing factors beyond simply a mob frenzy. While the immediate act of demolition involved large crowds of rioters, characterizing it solely as a mob frenzy would be simplistic and potentially misleading. Here are some important considerations: Years of pre-existing tensions: The Ayodhya dispute, rooted in claims about the birthplace of Lord Ram, had been simmering for decades. Political mobilization and media coverage stoked religious sentiments and intensified animosity between Hindu and Muslim communities. Political agendas: Certain political parties, particularly the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), actively played upon the Ayodhya dispute to advance their own political goals. Their rhetoric and actions contributed to a charged atmosphere leading up to the demolition. Security failure: Despite warnings of potential violence, the Uttar Pradesh state government under Kalyan Singh, a BJP leader, failed to take adequate security measures to protect the mosque. This created a permissive environment for the mob to act. Role of leaders: Several high-profile religious and political figures were present on the scene and made inflammatory speeches, further inciting the crowd. The extent of their direct involvement in planning the demolition remains debated, but their presence undoubtedly bolstered the mob's actions. While the actual demolition was carried out by a large and frenzied crowd, concluding it was solely a spontaneous act of mob fury overlooks the larger context and the role of powerful actors in shaping the event. Attributing responsibility solely to a mob frenzy risks simplifying a complex historical event and potentially absolving those who played a more proactive role. It's crucial to understand the Babri Masjid demolition in its entirety, considering the historical context, political motivations, security lapses, and the role of leaders. Only then can we gain a nuanced perspective on this tragic event and its lasting impact on Indian society. https://lnkd.in/dNM_rKmj

It's truly remarkable how time changes everything. As we grow, our intellect expands, and we begin to see things differently. When I was a child, seeing images like this clip of a man demolishing the minaret of a mosque made me feel sad and frightened. I saw it as an attack on a place where my grandfather, father, brothers, and cousins would go to pray. I used to think of a mosque as solely a place of prayer, a place of Allah. However, after learning about Hinduism, my perspective has shifted. I no longer feel sad for the same reasons. Instead, I feel sorrow for the beautiful, peaceful, accommodating, and tolerant tradition of Hinduism. This destructive act is a terrible display (by its so-called followers, adorned with saffron belts, flags, and large tilaks on their foreheads-especially the head of state, Mr. CM)of Hindutava. They believe they are reclaiming their faith, but in reality, they are damaging and distorting their own faith. Oh God, grant them some sense and guide them out of the Medieval era. It's the 21st century, yet they refuse to accept the truth of the past, a past that holds nothing to be ashamed of or to feel weak about. Hindus have never been subordinates in their own land. There's no need for this self healing as there was not victimization, unlike what is spread widely through BJPs IT cell...this victimization is the first stage of cultivating hatred towards Muslim rulers and Muslims of today.. Witnessing such regression in a state ( Maha-rashtra) known for its progressiveness is truly painful.#Evolutionofperspective Aditya ThackerayPriyanka ChaturvediShashi TharoorPradyot Manikya https://lnkd.in/dvCX_wnC 😞😞

Respected PM Narendra Modi ji, It’s time to reflect on the current state of Hindu temples in India. While other religious institutions are governed independently, our temples remain under government control. This disparity raises an important question—why are only Hindu temples subjected to this? I humbly request the creation of a #SanatanBoardForHindus—an independent body that will oversee temple management, ensuring that the values of our Dharma are preserved, and temple funds are used for religious and community welfare. This is about reclaiming our cultural and spiritual heritage, and it’s time to let our temples flourish under the guidance of dharmic leaders, not bureaucrats. Let’s unite for #FreeOurTemples and ensure our rights are respected. #HinduRightsMatter #SanatanSovereignty #CulturalPreservation Amitshah Bjp Bharatiya Janata Party @RSSOrg @PMOIndia https://lnkd.in/gP6v3uxN

In the 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐈.𝐍.𝐃.𝐈.𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬, we observe a pattern where parties are 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 while𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 with similar divisions. This strategy seems to be a modern iteration of the ‘𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞’ policy. #Leadership #India #PoliticalStrategy #ThoughtLeadership #PoliticalAnalysis
