Introducing the Class of 2024 of the Women in Wind Global Leadership Program!💚🤩 It is an honour to present the 20 exceptional women chosen for the latest #WomenInWind program! From Kenya to the Philippines, Colombia to Egypt, the participants come from all corners of the world, and work across various divisions of wind energy. Over the coming months, the candidates will take part in an intensive professional development journey, including working with their individual mentors as well as engaging in online trainings and workshops. 🌍⚡Now in its sixth edition, the Global Women in Wind Leadership program strives to advance the careers of women in wind energy, thereby encouraging a more inclusive and innovative energy transition. The initiative is led collaboratively by the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) and the Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET).
