It's really interesting, each year, the Great Tit family has expanded, first there was the cheeky Knocker, who would knock in the kitchen window when I was inside, saying food time. Knocker brought Bruiser to the world, who would go around rubbing the beak in an exaggerated way on many branches on the tree, and off course knowing when to knock for food. This year we have Squeecher, one of the babies that was in my electricity box, and who isn't shy to let me know its time for food, even when, it's not time for food. There are of course the rest of the family members, they are more subtle, and always whoop whoop together. The reason for the post is, seeing the different and sometimes similar traits that run along families. Knocker would also rub the beak on the branches, it's just that Bruiser was serious about it. They are all quite vocal, however, Squeecher just tops the lot, funnily enough also has a higher tone than the rest or others in the family. I can distinguish a prominent difference. Bruiser last year went one above the parent, and knew exactly where I was in the house, winter or summer, and would remind me of my duties ie. Food. Squeecher on the other hand can be anywhere in the garden or field, and I'll know who is on their way... For food Interesting. That from the kitchen window, to the whole house, then the garden alerts with prompts and interactions with me.
