H&M officials have stated that inventory visibility alone is one of the most impactful changes to this new store. 🏬 ✨ Walk through the SoHo flagship store with Omni Talk Retail to see how the retailer took its overhead #RFID deployment and inventory management to the next level, achieving a physical view of how shoppers navigate the store, similar to online customer tracking. 🚶♂️ 📊 With the right in-store technology solution, H&M has gained higher efficiency in its operations by streamlining product placement and replenishments based on data-driven insights, reducing clutter and enhancing aesthetics. Just like H&M, empower your store with intelligent tasking, precise inventory location, real-time merchandising analytics and seamless omni-channel order fulfillment while elevating customer experiences with smart technologies. 🤖 📦 ✨
What happens when you take a traditional H&M, ➕ #RFID on the floor and fitting rooms ➕ Cleveron pickup lockers to expedite #BOPIS ➕ Smart #fittingrooms You'll have to watch this video to find out. Anne Mezzenga and Chris Walton took to the streets of #NYC last month to check out the new H&M flagship

Rethink Retail Top Retail Expert ► I propel innovative retail solutions through relationship building & thought leadership | Strategic Partnerships | Retail Technology & Trends | Data Analytics | Always Positive
Apparel retailers thinking about hands-free #RFiD....just ask Anne Mezzenga. Some high points on her H&M flagship store tour in Soho, where always-on overhead #RFiD has enabled H&M to blend the physical with the digital. 🔎 "What we were most intrigued with the use of #RFiD as the foundation for many of the technology enhancements" 🔎 "H&M has placed RFiD in the ceiling to track the movement of inventory on the floor pad and in/out of the fitting rooms." 🔎 "H&M officials have stated this inventory visibility alone is one of the most impactful changes to this new store, in part, for the first time H&M has a physical view of how their shoppers navigate their store and fitting rooms...similar to how they can view customers browse the H&M website." 🔎 "To take things a step further, H&M is also using RFiD to correlate customer interaction with product on the floor pad, with online engagement data and social media trends to better determine what to have on display in the store" 🔎 "It doesn't end with displays, RFiD can help H&M minimize skus on the floor based on what customers are interested in, what's trending, and what's being tried on vs just blindly filling the floor with product". 🔎 The evolved experience doesn't end there, with RFiD in the fittting rooms mirrors so customers can request items without leaving the fitting room...the goal is to allow customers to check out directly from the fitting rooms...a major advantage. 🔎 Finally, the #BOPIS pickup locker station, "RFiD is involved here too, where H&M can assure that inventory requested online can be available to pick up in the store within a matter of hours instead of a few days. Anne Mezzenga ends by saying that this store is an excellent case study of the future of retail, especially where apparel retail should be headed. This is the perfect storm of "always-on" overhead RFiD and apparel retail...it works and it pays for itself. Our gStore solution allows for H&M and other retailers to have an almost Google Maps for store inventory, and allow store associates to "not think, just do", which allows them to spend more time with customers. In 2019, it was called the “Retailpocolipse” - while it is actually a transformation. In 2023, one thousand more stores opened than closed (despite some major bankruptcies). This goes into what Bass Pro has done right. This harkens back to Wannamaker’s view when he made his flagship store in Philadelphia a destination for entertainment where people would embrace the brand - and indulge. Two words: Customer Experience. This touches online, store features, returns, help, and a a bought-in, well-equipped staff. https://lnkd.in/gqEZgcfY
