Calling all pyros! 🔥🚒 Let's talk about a growing trend in our industry: structural concrete fibers. These fibers are fantastic because they help reduce concrete cracking and significantly cut down on the need for structural steel rebar. But, as with everything, there's a catch. The challenge with these fibers is that they can make it tricky to install resinous flooring over the surface. They tend to cause air bubbles, and sometimes they’re long and tall enough to show through the finished system. Not exactly the smooth finish we're aiming for! So, what’s our solution? We recommend flame-torching the exposed fibers and then scraping off the residue to get rid of as much as possible. Even after torching, we might need to tweak the system a bit – usually by providing a thicker primer or base coat. What are your thoughts on fibers? 🎬Save costs and reduce concrete consumption with this method. Circular black honeycomb panels are placed on the roof, followed by woven rebar mesh, and then concrete is poured. With this method, the weight of the roof is reduced by up to 30%. Without compromising on quality.📉 In addition, rubber materials are used to fill the empty space created by the balls, which saves energy and waste.♨️❄ #baudäcker #hochbau #bauüberwacher

🚶♀️ Wire Sawing; Concrete, Marble and Granite Diamond Wire 🚶♂️ 🔜 The diamond wire saw is a type of wire saw that contains a wire embedded with diamond beads along its length. A diamond wire surrounds the thing to be covered, and it is connected to numerous pulleys that allow the operator to cut to any depth or form into the structure. 🔜 A concrete cutting system is chipping and shaping equipment designed to perform in an industrial-scale environment. 🔜 The arrangement of the pulleys can be altered to form a rectangular, circular, or any other form opening. It's crucial to apply some lubricant or coolant during this step since the temperature of this concrete cutting system must be controlled. 🔜 To prevent overheating, water from a constant source is used. #cahard #wiresaw #diamondwiresaw #diamondrope #springrope #sinteredwiresaw #cuttingmachine #wiresawmachine #diamondequipment #concretecutting #construction #mable #granite

Concrete scarifiers, sometimes also known as concrete planers, are vital for many kinds of construction work. With the use of spinning blades on a rotating drum, a scarifying machine can easily remove the topmost layer of concrete, creating a roughened but even surface that is ready for resurfacing, smoothening of bumps and dents, and a variety of other concrete work procedures. Mastiff 200 P9 features: 🔶 Maximum 4mm concrete removal per pass. 🔶Easy drum removal for fast change over. 🔶Vacuum suction spreader to increase dust control. 🔶Large precision bearing non marking wheels. 🔶Excellent Dust control with the urethane shroud fingers design. 🔶Can be fitted with Full Face Flails for a finer finish. 🔶Water injection point. https://lnkd.in/gyznrwyr #yourkeytofloorpreparationsuccess #australianmade #concreteplaner #scarifier #concretepreparation #mastiff #floorex #concreteprep #concrete

3 key decisions to make when planning a shed base using concrete: 1️⃣ Size and Shape: Determine the size and shape of the shed base. Measure the dimensions of your shed and add extra space for an overhang or any additional features. Ensure that the base is level and square. 2️⃣ Thickness of the Concrete Slab: Decide on the thickness of the concrete slab. The thickness will depend on the size and weight of your shed. Typically, a thickness of 4 inches \(10 cm\) is sufficient for smaller sheds, but larger or heavier structures may require a thicker slab. 3️⃣ Reinforcement: Consider whether reinforcement is necessary. For larger sheds or heavy equipment storage, you may want to add reinforcement, such as wire mesh or rebar, to increase the strength of the concrete slab and prevent cracking.
