🚨 Just released on Vessel Viewer: a new insights tab that allows users to examine a vessel’s identity, activity, authorizations and compliance history! 💡 Insights include details to support accurate interpretation, including information on data sources and analysis criteria. The five new insights will help determine: 🔹 If a vessel is present on a RFMO IUU vessel list 🔹 A vessel’s AIS coverage metric 🔹 AIS off events, where a vessel has likely disabled AIS transmission 🔹 Apparent fishing events detected in no-take MPAs 🔹 Apparent fishing events detected in areas with no known RFMO authorization 🌐 Learn more about this update to the powerful vessel history tool we developed with TMT here: bit.ly/GFW-updates
