Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties’ Post

Two months after moving into her Habitat home, Beth reflects on the incredible journey that led her to where she is today. From living in a homeless shelter and then a two-bedroom trailer to owning a home where each of her three children has their own room, Beth's story is one of resilience and hope. She completed 300 hours of sweat equity, attended more than 20 hours of homeownership education classes, and paid $2,000 to pay toward closing costs. “I'm blessed now to be in my house,” Beth said. “I've been here for two months and to know that I can afford my mortgage and everything's going to be great for me and the kids for the rest of their lives and mine, it’s been awesome.” Join us in celebrating Beth’s journey to homeownership in our Journey Together community! 🏘

Common sense D2B Designs to Build

OK. Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties . that's (3) women in a row....I guess the demographics are such that there are no homeless men in Lee and Hendry Counties ...or at least none who dare ask for a hand up only to get rejected because no one feels they deserve help??? They are out there...with the rest of their homeless family... I challenge y'all to find the Grace of God to find one...and I will move to FL and help build that family's home...as long as I can live in my truck on site. 🙏✌️👩🏻🤝👨🏼♥️👩❤️👨😊🙏
