#redbullracing still struggles with Barbarians at the Gate. In the last couple of days with over the top Amplify and asking for H's Team Principal position (Creator of today's most successful team) in exchange of keeping a personal assistant. A few answers should be added to that list: 1.- Who is more valuable to #redbullracing long term success? H or M. 2.- #gomax is looking for a seat at Mercedes and ... is he offering technical resources and #redbull intellectual property alongside? 3.- Is #LibertyMedia ok that a driver can damage the F1, the #f1 brand, the team, The Team Principal and the team's technical viability just to avoid breach of contract penalties? I don't know Rick, looks like... they are not just looking for money. 🤔🤔🤔

Attracting Talent with $15K Sign On Bonuses: Smart Move or Risky Business? I just laugh when I see corporate owned shops offer $10K or $15K sign on bonuses in an ad for Technicians. Techs aren’t stupid, they know that they will never see that money. I’ve spoken with a half dozen techs over the years that got burned by this scam and they all know how it works. It's an endless series of hoops to jump through with no pot of gold in sight, just excuses and broken promises. So, what dollar amount should you offer? If you are negotiating with a tech one-on-one, you can offer anything you both agree to that sounds fair. If you are running an ad that lots of techs will see, $2K - $5K is the sweet spot. If you offer any more than that, techs will call B.S. and we’ve seen that hurt ad response rates.
