It’s no secret working sustainably in construction on site is a challenge. Yet we always find a way to work around things, including the way we tackle our net zero pledge as a company. For example, there may be times when we have surplus timber on site. When this happens, we work with local charities in Eastbourne, The Shed, and the Local Allotment Society. We give them any surplus timber and pallets we have so they can be reused, repurposed or rehomed – cutting our waste and supporting others needing materials.
