The ninth edition of the AKB Charity Run in collaboration with the Linde Multi-Generation House made quite an impact! With over 1,800 participants on Wednesday evening, we saw a record turnout for a great cause: raising nearly €20,000 in just one hour on the 1,200-meter course through Kirchheim's city center. We are especially proud of our HACK team! Despite the bad weather, 19 dedicated employees covered a total distance of 166 kilometers. A huge thank you to all the runners and the organizers of the AKB Run for this fantastic event. On Saturday, June 15, 2024, the first "Mewa Cup" took place in the MEWA ARENA in Mainz, an exclusive customer soccer tournament. The Bundesliga stadium of 1. FSV Mainz 05 became the venue for this special event, where numerous teams competed against each other. We, Hack Formenbau GmbH, secured 3rd place. With team spirit and athletic effort, we managed to earn a spot on the podium. The Mewa Cup 2024 offered all participants and spectators a day full of exciting matches and a diverse supporting program. The event was a success and left positive memories for everyone involved. HACK® lift & strip molds, also called molds with lateral stripping, make it possible to produce in a “prone” molding which was previously a “standing” molding. This has many advantages. For example, the injection molding can be switched to a valve gate system with direct injection molding and it is possible to dispense with previously necessary sliders. Due to the lateral stripping, no ejector marks are visible on the plastic part. The stripping movement is mechanical.
