This past week, we had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Myntra HackerRamp hackathon. Out of 29,000 teams, we were thrilled to qualify for the first round. However, despite our best efforts, my teammate Tanisha Samant and I didn’t make it to the final round. Reflecting on this journey, I realize that success isn’t just about winning but about the unique ideas we bring to the table and the determination to see them through. We poured our hearts into developing MyntraSwipes, a project that combines the functionalities of Myntra and Tinder, aiming to provide a personalized shopping experience. I'm grateful for the chance to work together and tackle challenges, explore innovative solutions, and make strides toward our goals. While the result wasn’t what we had hoped for, the experience was invaluable. It reinforced my passion for innovation and my commitment to learning and growth. I’ve come to understand that each setback is a setup for a stronger comeback. I am excited to continue expanding our skills and exploring new tech stacks. The journey doesn’t end here; it’s only the beginning. I am more motivated than ever to turn our ideas into reality and make a meaningful impact. It's been 2 months since I transitioned from Paytm to Tekion Corp . Moving from fintech to automotive industry wasn't easy, but I'm incredibly thankful to my amazing team - "JiraHunters." Here are a few things I've appreciated: 1. Ownership: The clear feedback and support from my seniors have been remarkable. Despite their busy schedules, they've patiently explained the industry, & our products. I would also like to thank Alok Joshi , Rishabh Dassani , Harish Menon ,P J Naveen ,& Prasoon Gupta who have guided me through challenges, helping me understand my responsibilities and giving me opportunities to showcase my skills. 2. Teamwork: It's not just a talented team, but a team of supportive individuals who celebrate each other's successes and invest in newcomers' growth. They made me feel like part of the family from day one. 3. Empathy: True to the motto I first read at JiraHunters, "Help will always be given at JiraHunters to those who ask for it," I've received help whenever I needed it. The initial ice-breaking session truly helped me acclimate, making the transition smoother. The past two months have steepened my learning curve and emphasized the importance of continuous upskilling and resilience. Razorpay People told me your support was bad, I didn't listen, shame on me. In the past 4 days, I have requested for endless calls where people with no understanding of your business call me to fulfill the duty of calling and then later endless tickets are opened and closed. Are you in the ticket opening business or solving a real problem? Why can't the same person work on one case instead of me explaining the problem to a new person every single time? Understand that it has reached the frustration level that i have to come on linkedin to tag you to get a resolution to my simple problem. If no one told you, your support is bad. Vivek Sridhar
